Department Overview

The Department of Kuzhanthai Maruthuvam (Paediatrics) at Maria Siddha Medical College & Hospital & Hospital is dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of infants, children, and adolescents through the principles of Siddha medicine integrated with modern pediatric healthcare. The department offers comprehensive education in child growth, developmental milestones, nutrition, immunization, common pediatric disorders, neonatal care, and preventive medicine.

Students receive extensive clinical training through pediatric outpatient clinics, inpatient wards, neonatal observation, child health assessment, nutritional counselling, case discussions, bedside teaching, and supervised clinical practice. The department prepares graduates to provide compassionate, evidence-based, and holistic healthcare for children.
